LotRO Delays "Before The Shadow" Expansion To November 15, Preview Stream Pushed To Next Friday
It seems Standing Stone Games needs a little more time.
Standing Stone Games has announced the delay of LotRO's upcoming mini-expansion "Before the Shadow." Players should be able to enjoy the content patch a week after its original release date on November 15.
The Before the Shadow expansion will add two new zones that create an alternative leveling path, an endgame Delving dungeon system akin to Mythic+ from World of Warcraft, quality-of-life improvements, and much more which could be the reason behind its delay. Standing Stone didn't elaborate further in their announcement post on Twitter.
We are getting Before the Shadow ready and we want to update you on our new release date. Update 34 will now release on November 15th, a shift of one week from its original release date. We apologize for the delay and we look forward to adventuring with you soon! #LOTRO pic.twitter.com/LimUiP8JND

Furthermore, the preview stream by the LotRO devs has been moved to November 11 at noon Eastern Time. However, one of the new zones coming in the expansion, Cordovan, will still be accessible tomorrow for the Extra Life marathon.
In the meantime, you can pre-order the Before the Shadow expansion and jump in right away when it releases on November 15.
