LotRO Announces Changes To Raid Tests In Time For The Fall Of Khazad-dûm
When Lord of the Rings Online drops Update 30, it will add a new 12-player raid to the mix -- The Fall of Khazad-dûm. Prior to that happening, Standing Stone Games will be doing some testing. However, things will be a bit different than players are used to this go round.
This time, testing will be broken up with only Tier 1 being available for the full time. Tier 2, on the other hand, has been broken into scheduled windows happening on Tuesday May 18th and Thursday May 20th. Each day will feature two one-hour test periods running from 3 to 4 pm and 8 to 9 pm EDT.
During both of these periods, raid developer Lansu will be on hand to both observe the proceedings and answer any questions players might have. The post announcing these test changes doesn't specify why the focus is only on Tier 2. It does, however, note that balance changes will be made on the Wednesday between test windows, so they ask that all players take part in both so they can receive useful feedback.
