Lost Ark Travelogue Presents The Seafaring Adventures Of A Community Manager
Lost Ark developer Smilegate just revealed a bunch of new terrain in the upcoming free-to-play MMO, which will enter its second closed beta test soon. For now, Steparu's got the scoop on the new geography and a preview of some of the adventures by boat that players will be able to participate in.
The translated adventures of CM Risha read like a travelogue, with our intrepid explorer visiting a heart-shaped island covered in flowers, a demon-infested island, and a "legendary chair," that "if you sit down on it, you can see your future lover." A ghost ship and sudden, violent storms hamper the journey, which concludes with the sighting of a giant whale which, thankfully, doesn't go all Moby-Dick on Risha's sailing vessel.
If you're looking forward to Lost Ark, Risha's travelogue should whet your appetite for the potential for high-seas exploration and discovery. Just try not to think too hard about how much you'll be repeating that same content once the initial thrill of discovery has worn off.
