Lost Ark Pushed Back To 2022
Closed beta and founder's packs on track for November
Lost Ark needs a little more time to find itself. The collaboration between Smilegate and Amazon Games will be delayed until next year, as announced today via the game's official Twitter account.
The statement says that during the technical alpha test, "we discovered a lot more work that will be needed to launch Lost Ark at the high quality bar our players deserve." As a result, the launch is now scheduled for early 2022, so that the dev team can "take the time to do it right while also ensuring we look after the wellness" of its staff.
If you were set on getting your hands on the game in 2021, there's still an option available. A closed beta test will be running from November 4-9, and founder's pack purchasers will receive automatic access. You can also sign up on the game's testing page for a chance to get into the closed beta. In the meantime, fans can look forward to monthly updates from the team and the launch of official forums in October.
