Lost Ark’s Mokoko Bootcamp Event Encourages Veteran Players To Join New Players In Dungeons With Rewards
As long as there’s one new or returning player in a group, everyone is rewarded.
A new update was pushed in Lost Ark today, introducing a new event to the MMORPG and kicking off the transfer window for those needing to move from Ignite servers to the Legacy servers. The Mokoko Bootcamp event is intended to assist new and returning players trying to make their way in the game.
As most MMO players are aware, it can sometimes be difficult to get parties together to complete older content. Not everyone wants to do older content, particularly when there’s nothing in it for them.
That’s where the event comes in. When players whose highest Item Level character on their account is lower than 1660 complete a dungeon, they and those who are with them will be rewarded. The new/returning players will receive “Mokoko Tokens” that can be exchanged for different items, while veteran players who complete dungeons with new and returning players will receive “Expert Tokens”. Both sets of tokens can be exchanged for rewards.
To make it clear as to whether a player is new, returning, or neither, new and returning players who meet one of three criteria will have a green leaf icon next to their name in the recruitment panel. The requirements are that the account has been created during the event period or no more than 60 days prior. Or, in the case of returning players, the account has to have been one that players last logged into more than 60 days before the event started. The event kicked off today and will last until January 15.
As for the Ignite server transfers, the window is open now and will remain so until November 27. The transfer system allows for two types of transfers. Roster Transfer is designed for new players and allows the movement of some roster-level information to another server along with the character intended to be transferred. Character transfer works better for returning or currently active players and allows them to merge their characters into an existing roster.
