Lost Ark Korea's Summer Update Brings New Sorceress Class And Various Activities
If you're looking forward to playing Lost Ark -- well, keep looking forward to it, because it will still be a few months before it officially hits North America and Europe. In the meantime, you can feast your eyes on the trailer for the latest update coming to the game's Korean servers.
The primary new feature of the Astalgia Summer Update is a new class, the sorceress, which does about what you'd expect -- namely, unleash a bevy of magical attacks to burn, freeze, electrocute, and generally bludgeon enemies into a fine red mist. New baddies include what looks like a giant frost dragon and a ferocious gorilla-like monster that makes Donkey Kong look like a chimp.
Naturally, the new content comes with new shiny loot, and a lot of menus that we can only assume offer some kind of additional advancement potential. Finally, if you're looking to unwind between all the monster-slaying, there are summer-themed events, such as water-gun fights, and you can beat the heat in a swimsuit outfit.
You can keep up with all the updates via the game's roadmap, though there's obviously no info on when any of this will be making its way to the English-language version of the game. We'd guess that the sorceress and boss battles will come along in time, though you'll probably have to wait until next year to get in on the summer fun. Just think of it as a tantalizing preview of what's to come ... someday.
