Lost Ark's December "Eye On Arkesia" Episode Is Really Just A Lot Of "We'll Have More News Soon"

The episode isn't TOTALLY without info, but if you skipped it, you wouldn't miss much.

When the Lost Ark team drops their usual "Eye on Arkesia" video each month, we normally get quite a few details on what the MMORPG's next patch will add and what the subsequent months may be bringing. The reveal of the roadmap was delayed a little bit as the team wanted to wait until the completion of the LOA ON livestream, which is schduled to take place on December 13th.

When that roadmap drops, it'll come with the usual caveats of it not being a complete picture or definitive list, but it will provide a general idea of Lost Ark's direction over the next few months.

While the video reminds everyone of that, it also contains a lot of "we'll have more news soon" moments. There's enough of them that I kind of question why the team put Roxx in front of a camera this month anyway. Just wait until the roadmap drop at this point.

For instance, the game's next update comes on December 18th. That update will have "content pieces" and "quality-of-life" improvements...but Roxx can't go into details about any of it as that would spoil the LOA ON presentation. Even patch notes for the update will post later in the day on launch day (they usually post them the day before patch launch) to avoid revealing anything.

We do get confirmation that the Brelshaza Kazeros Raid Part 2 will not be part of the update. You have some extra time to gear up. The prologue quest, however, will be part of the patch. A higher level endgame event is also still in development...but no info there either. PvP players do get a new season, though.

The video then ends with a tease of cash shop bundles.

Literally, that's it. Roxx is excited about content, but they literally can't talk about any of it as they wait for the roadmap.

What a weird choice to do a video that basically says "please look forward to it" just days before the roadmap drop video they'll end up doing.
