Lost Ark's Cool Retreat Brings Solo Raid Fun And Progression Changes Galore Today
Go it alone or just go have a silly race, either way, there's new things to do.
July update time! Lost Ark cools things down for the hot, hot summer in a new "Cool Retreat" update today. While the MMORPG isn't getting a ton of "new" content, it is mixing up how you can engage with existing content while making progression (particularly through endgame) a bit faster and more enjoyable.
On the content front, dungeons and raids get a new solo option. If you're looking to learn the fights before jumping into a group or having a hard time finding a group, this option allows you to go it alone. Solo Mode will support raids starting with the Valtan Legion Raid all the way to the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon. You'll earn less gold doing things this way, but you will still receive progression materials (and a little gold) up to a certain point. If you need to catch up on endgame gear, you can certainly do it this way, but remember that once you're above certain gear scores you won't get these materials anymore. Some classes will receive various buffs to help them progress alone.
July also sees a multitude of events come to the game as a new event powerpass kicks off, the Super Mokoko Express Event starts (useful for prepping for Tier 4), and the Maharaka Festival brings racing to Lost Ark.
Progression sees quite a few changes including a basic growth boost extension to Brelshaza gear, some Tier 3 engraving support, crafting adjustments, and more. Check out the latest "Patch Notes with Henry" video for all the particulars.
