Lost Ark Blog Details Advanced Class Abilities For Mages
Playing a Mage in Lost Ark means a bit more than just looking sexy -- although that's obviously part of the job description if the video and images are anything to go by. But still, it's more than that. That's why Smilegate has published a post on the game's blog offering players more information on what they can expect from the class as they level up.
The post covers Advance Classes and abilities, explaining how they tap into ancient magic to get things done. This includes defeating enemies, healing the wounded, and just generally supporting your pals. Since the mage has a pretty broad range of abilities, it only makes sense that when choosing an advanced class, players will be able to choose between either taking on a full support role and healer as the Bard, or someone ready to do a lot of damage with the aid of elemental creatures as a Summoner.
The devs cover the abilities of each in the post and also go over them in the video below. The post is pretty much general bullet points, so the video might give you a better idea of the classes in action.
While we have you here, we're also going to drop the link for the Warrior class writeup -- which we apparently missed last week. The Warrior has three advance class option, all rather tanky: Beserker, Paladin, and Gunlancer. You can see them in action in the video below.
