Lost Ark Announces Nerfs For T1 And T2 Dungeons And Not Everyone Is Happy About It
As always, these types of changes were made based on "feedback."
It seems that many Lost Ark players haven't really been enjoying the game’s current endgame content, and they've been making that fact known – enough so that Amazon Games announced they would be adjusting the difficulty of several of the game's dungeons and raids.
The changes are to take place during the weekly update and impact six guardian raids and four abyss dungeons. The raids in question are Vertus, Nacrasena, Flame Fox Yoho, Tytalos, Achates, and Alberhastic. The dungeons affected consist of Necromancer’s Origin, Hall of the Twisted Warlord, Hilderbrandt Palace, and Sea of Indolence.
While undoubtedly, some players are thrilled with these changes – or at least that changes are happening – not everyone shares that sentiment. In fact, it's once again kicked off the great debate about whether or not allowing for easier content to open games up to more people is a bad thing. Some are comparing it to Dark Souls, which may not be the best comparison, seeing as one is a single-player game and one is an MMO. The latter generally wants and needs a bigger player base to keep the game interesting for everyone. That said, people have asked for difficulty options on Dark Souls as well.
