Lord Of The Rings Online Is Testing Some Changes To Monster Play
If you haven't been loving Lord of the Rings Online's version of PvP, the one where someone's gotta take on the role of a monster, you may want to check out Standing Stone Games' latest update preview for the game. According to a post on the game's forums, the upcoming update 28.2 will hopefully fix some of the players' PvP woes with a whole collection of changes.
Among the listed changes are adjustments to how monster player stats work behind the scenes. These changes will hopefully make them more consistent with player stats when backend changes are made that might have an impact on them. Three different bullet points in the post address Creep. These include adding a multiplier to base HP and damage, tweaking base rating values, and having them start with better ratings. In addition, the update also bumps some of the monsters' weaker skills and updates regen sources.
The full list of changes is available in the forum post on the LotRO site for players who would like to dig into it a bit more.
