Lord Of The Rings Online Celebrates Its 15th Anniversary And A Ton Of Stuff Is Free To Grab Right Now
Goodies include free Quest packs.
Happy Birthday, Lord of the Rings Online. The game is turning fifteen and as is the case with most video game anniversaries (I’m looking at you Bungie), that means free content for the players. The event kicks off today and runs through October 31. During this time players can grab almost the entire game for free. That includes region-specific quests, deeds, classic instances – almost all of it.
Redeem the below code and these quest packs are yours forever!
To get all this content for free, players will need to use the code: FREEQUEST2022. This will grant them the following quest packs:
- Yondershire
- Rangers and Ruins
- Central Gondor
- East Gondor
- West Gondor
- Old Anorien
- March of the King
- Battle of the Black
- Legacy of the Necromancer
- Where Dragons Dwell
- The Vales of Anduin
- Mists of Wilderland
- The Wildwood
- The Blood of Azog
It also contains The Further Adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the Far Anorien Region Pack.
When we said “almost all of it” we meant that there was a bit of content not included in this that players who would like it will have to buy, but, it’s on sale, so that’s a plus. The expansion quests Mordor, War of Three Peaks, and Minas Morgul are all available on the game store for 99 points for the duration of the event.
Another thing not included in all this free content – because that would be silly to do – is the upcoming Before the Shadow Expansion, scheduled to release on November 8. It is available for pre-order now, however.
