Log In To World of Tanks On Consoles To Earn a Free Tank And Czech Out a New Nation
Wargaming is celebrating three years of World of Tanks on consoles by offering players a free tank and the armored fighting division of a new nation.
All you have to do is log in on PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One between today and Feb. 28 and play a single battle to earn the Soviet Raseiniai BT-7A, "a speedy tank that packs a punch with a high-explosive-slinging cannon." Two other player-favorite tanks, the KV-5 and the 105 leFH18B2 artillery piece, have also returned to the shop for a limited time. There's also a discount on premium accounts until Feb. 25.
Meanwhile, the Czechoslovakian armored division makes its debut in the game, with 10 new light and medium tanks. The light tanks are well-armored for their size but slow, while the medium tanks trade armor for speed and greater firepower.
Overall, Wargaming boasts of 11 million registered players on consoles, participating in 90,000 battles per day. You can get more fascinating numbers, as well as additional details on the third anniversary festivities on the World of Tanks site.
