Lineage 2 Essence “Battle Chronicle” Update Expands On Cross-Server Content
Now, players can try out the game’s first intra-server castle siege.
Approximately twice a year, Lineage 2 Essence drops a major update filled with new content for the game. One of these updates was announced by gaming platform 4game today. Titled “Battle Chronicle”, the update expands on the cross-server content the game was already known for and adds new instances and a new hunting ground as well.
Fans of the game will want to check out Aden Castle’s World Siege. Slated to occur once every two weeks on Sundays, the siege is open to players working with their clans or alone as mercenaries for one of the clans. The clan that earns the most points will win, and while you’re there you get to spend time in a really cool castle.
In addition to the siege, the update also adds a new 11-tiered instance zone, which also happens to be one of the largest cross-server locations in the game. Fight your way through 10 floors of monsters in Hellbound in order to reach the boss monster, Darion, on the 11th floor. If you can get past him, then you’ll be able to take on the epic boss, Demon King Beleth. Luckily, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try as the zone is available every day at 9 pm server time.
Other bits of new content include the new location Giant’s Cave and a special Saturday night event in which players take on the Epic Boss Antharas. In the former, individual players will be able to compete for two new Purge weapons while their clans vie for access to the Cave’s control device and the accompanying XP and SP buffs.
