Liberate the Oathsworn Pit In This Elder Scrolls Online New Dungeon Preview
Preview one of two new dungeons coming in Scions of Ithelia.
Coming March 11th for PC and March 26th for console, the Scions of Ithelia update for The Elder Scrolls Online will be introducing two new dungeons to the game. This week, we get a preview of one of those dungeons, the Oathsworn Pit.
The Oathsworn Pit in the MMORPG serves as the training ground for Malacath's devoted followers. It has been overrun by a mysterious group of Wood Elves, and it is up to you and your party to gain retribution for Malacath's fallen warriors.
“Malacath’s an interesting prince. He’s the Lord of Ash and Bone, the Oathbreaker, and the God of Curses, but to Orcs, he’s Mauloch the Lord of the Sworn Oath—Defender of the Betrayed,” explains Helena Wachhaus, one of ESO’s Writer-Designers. “With this dungeon, we explore how Orcs view Mauloch. He might be a vengeful and bloody Daedric Prince—and the Oathsworn reflect this too—but when his followers’ trust is betrayed, he’ll make sure that dishonor is repaid.”
The Oathsworn pit will feature three bosses. The first boss is Rethelros, who is bonded with his wolf Malthil. Next up will be Anthelmir and her construct in the Lodge of the Axe. Finally, you'll take on Aradros the Awakened (pictured at the top of this article) who will transform the floor into an inferno.
Rewards include three new unique item sets and a new monster helm.
You can check out the full preview for the Oathsworn Pit over on the Elder Scrolls Online site.
