Let The World Building Begin As MapleStory Worlds Launches On PC And Mobile Devices
It’s the creative outlet of Roblox in a MapleStory setting.
Today, Nexon launched the latest entry in the MapleStory IP on PC and Mobile devices, offering players a new way to interact with the game’s universe. MapleStory Worlds is a F2P world-building platform similar to Roblox, but set in the MapleStory universe. Players can build worlds for any game genre using assets from Nexon’s long-running MMORPG and share them with others.
Players can use both the built-in "drag-and-drop" and Lua scripting to build their worlds. Just use whichever you’re most comfortable with or whichever suits your project best. The system even allows players to set custom revenue models and allows other players to purchase their creations.
MapleStory Worlds is available to download via the official site. Those wanting to play on mobile devices can download it via their mobile store.
To get you started, there's an entire playlist of videos on the game's YouTube channel. I've added the first of those videos below for you.
