Legends Of Runeterra Patch 4.12 Brings Three New Champions And New Mechanics
Mordekaiser, Morgana, and Elder Dragon join the fray.
Legends of Runeterra patch 4.12 is here and with it comes three new champions and some new mechanics to learn. Mordekaiser, Morgana, and Elder Dragon join the card game's battle, each with their own Path of the Champions Star Powers.

Mordekaiser

Twice Slain - Round Start: If you have the attack token, create a 2 cost Indestructible in hand or if you have one, reduce its cost by 1.

Thrice Born

+1 Starting Mana - When you revive an ally, grant it +2|+0 and Overwhelm

Twice Slain II - Round Start: Create a 2 cost Indestructible in hand or if you have one, reduce its cost by 1.

Morgana
-
Bound Wings - When you target an enemy, Curse it with Shackles.

Crushing Guilt - +1 Starting Mana. Round End: Deal 2 to Cursed enemies and 1 to the enemy nexus for each curse in their hand.

Bound Wings II - When you target an enemy, Curse it with Shackles. Increase the cost of enemy curses Everywhere by 1.

Elder Dragon

Dragonsire - Allies with base cost 6+ cost 1 less.

Aspect of the Dragon - +1 Starting Mana. When you play a base 6+ cost ally, play a random Dragon Boon on it.

Dragonsire II - Allies with base cost 6+ cost 2 less.

There are also some new mechanics to learn as part of the Legends of Runeterra 4.12 update.

Dragon Boon

Dragon Boons are skills that provide your units with buffs respective to the boon. Turning your units into lethal threats.

Curse
-
Curses are debuffs in the form of cards placed in the opponent’s hand.

Players can spend mana to lift curses.

Deathless
-
When a unit dies, revive it with 1 health, stunned.

Cannot be Stopped
-
Elder Dragon cannot be removed from the board, blocked, or negatively modified.

You can also take part in the Coven Event to earn icons, cards, emotes, and champion skins. The event pass grants access to premium rewards and unlocks Coven Ashe immediately.
