Legends Of Runeterra's Beyond The Bandlewood Expansion Is Live
Yordles and more!
Well, that was fast. After announcing two weeks ago that the next Legends of Runeterra expansion would be out by the end of the month, Riot Games went ahead and released Beyond the Bandlewood before the end of the month. Huzzah!
The new expansion adds 126 cards, including nine new champions, a new region, new keywords, and an event pass. The new champions are, as you might expect, largely pulled from the ranks of League of Legends' yordles, and there's also the Sheriff of Piltover, Caitlyn, for good measure.
The new keywords are Impact, which lets a follower deal one damage to the enemy Nexus every time it strikes while attacking, and Manifest, which lets you choose from three cards when the effect is activated.
A new Region Road is available for Bandle City, and Region Roads for Bilgewater, Noxus, Piltover & Zaun, Shadow Isles, and Shurima have been extended to level 40. Eight new archetypes have been added to the Expeditions pool, featuring the new cards and champions, and all archetypes from Rise of the Underworlds have had their offering bonuses normalized.
There's plenty more to be found in the notes for Patch 2.14.0, which brought Beyond the Bandlewood to the game. Just try not to trip over the yordles as you're adventuring. They hate that.
