Legends Of Aria's Free Option, New Dawn Update Coming Dec. 5
The free option for MMORPG Legends of Aria is almost available. Citadel Studios today announced that it would be throwing open the gates to free players on Dec. 5, along with presenting new content for players new and old in the New Dawn update.
Once New Dawn goes live, free players will have access to most of the game, needing to buy a Citizen's Pass for $19.99 to be able to buy a home, launch a shop, increase bank capacity, and enable other functionality. The free version will only be available on Steam, though Citadel Studios hopes to be able to provide it to players using the game's standalone launcher. For more on what free players will be able to accomplish, hit up the announcement and FAQ on the Legends of Aria site.
Whether you're new to the game or not, you'll be able to take advantage of the offerings of the New Dawn update, which include the return of the Wilderness, new warrior abilities, townships, militias, and the Leagues of Celador, a new kind of episodic content.
