Sharkmob is launching a new series of videos to show off various features of their upcoming PvPvE shooter Exoborne. At least, one would believe it is a new series given that today's episode is labeled as "Episode 1."

While we've known about the team's plans to mesh typical survival-game mechanics into a savaged world where even the weather is trying to kill you, today we get a bit more details about the Exo-rig you'll be wearing during your adventures.

Exoborne follows the typical session-based gameplay where your goal is to get in, get loot and crafting materials, extract, and repeat. Each excursion will be different from the previous one with wild tornadoes and other deadly weather wreaking havoc. Other factions (and players) may not be kind either, so be ready.

You'll play as a "Reborn" and you'll have access to an Exo-rig, shown off in the new video. Think Anthem's full body suits, but not as "all-covering" as that. Modifying your suit is how you define your playstyle and your power. Shields, air strikes, how much you can carry...these once used for building now turned militaristic suits are what decides all of that. Check out the video to see how you'll be customizing your rig and if you're following Exoborne, make sure to wishlist it on Steam.

More open testing will take place in early 2025. Details on that front are coming soon.

I do like these games for instant fun.

I think these game devs that are making these games maybe need to look at ..Pro longing time in game. not quick action build etc etc bomb over. as that;s ye'ol'fortnite.

Game devs: Ya need to Think harder.
