League Of Legends’ Latest Champion Is Blood-Thirsty, See Briar In Action
But still quick to make friends.
The most recently announced League of Legends Champion, Briar is interesting. She kinda gives off the vibe of a band member who escaped from The Gorillaz crossed with Nimona. Whatever else she is, she’s the product of hemomancy and was created by the Black Rose to be a living weapon. To be used as the weapon she was intended to be, she must be kept in a frenzied state that keeps her craving blood. This didn’t work out well for anyone, so now she’s mostly kept confined and restrained.
The restraint in question is a pillory locked by a gemstone with properties that help make Briar a bit more sane. Shockingly, she likes it. Even though she’s long since figured out how to get out of it, she doesn’t keep it off for long.
Now, she’s escaped her prison, but at least she’s trying to be friendlier.
Briar’s abilities are all based on blood, feeding, and a frenzied state. She’s always teetering on the edge but still works to maintain some control over herself. When she does lose control, it’s because she wants to. A full rundown on Briar is available on the MOBA's site, both in the Champion Insights post and the Abilities Rundown.
