League Of Legends Gets All Robot-Like With A New PvE Game Mode And A New Champ
Pick up 3 friends and go on a bullet hell PvE summer adventure.
Summer events are coming to League of Legends and the MOBA will see the return of an event that we haven't seen since 2022. Swarm | Operation: Anima Squad comes to the game on July 17th and will run until August 19th. Legends will take on new appearances. Imagine them as robot animals and you're in the ballpark.
As part of the event, you'll be seeing a new champion coming to the roster: Aurora the Witch Between Worlds. "At the start of the year, we talked about creating fun, new ways to enjoy 'League of Legends,' and we're really excited to introduce Swarm to players during this summer's Anima Squad event," said Game Director Pu Liu. "We're very proud of the team's work, and hope that Swarm will bring players a lot of laughs and fun times with friends old and new."
Groups of 4 can take on a "bullet hell" type PvE mode where playing matches yields powerups that you can carry over on your hero into future battles in the WASD movement-based mode that challenges you to survive as long as you can.
Check out the full details in the video below and if you want to get some lead info on Aurora's kit, check it out on the official site.
