League Of Legends Drops Behind-The-Scenes Video Showing How The Worlds 2022 Opening Came Together
So much work goes into these things.
The 2022 League of Legends Worlds Championship may have come and gone, but Riot wants fans to know how much work goes into these kinds of things. Keeping in mind that this is the first in-person event the developer had held in two years, thanks to the pandemic, they wanted to do something really impressive. Not that they don’t shoot pretty high on these things anyway.
To offer fans insight into what ended up being a spectacular stage performance, they dropped a special video showing the thought process and work that went into it. That’s from deciding which Champions to feature, to deciding what artists they’d like to work with – and hoping they’d say yes – to all the technical aspects, like creating giant holograms and getting dancers choreographed with them.
Of course, things like this never go smoothly. In fact, the hallmark of a good production is the people behind it knowing how to adjust when a problem inevitably crops up. The video shows that, too. If you’re interested in seeing how these things come together, take about 13 minutes and watch the video. Just so you can compare, the video of the show itself is available below as well.
