League Of Legends' Aurelion Sol Rework Coming In February Patch With An All-New Ability Kit, Model, And More
Before next month, players can enjoy Lunar Revel 2023 and purchase new skins.
In the upcoming Patch 13.3 for League of Legends next month, Riot Games will finally drop the long-awaited Aurelion Sol rework, giving the champion an all-new ability kit, model, splash art, and voiceover.
The announcement blog published by Riot displays the new abilities and artwork for Aurelion Sol. Specific changes from the champion include Breath of Light becoming a Q ability that requires players to channel toward adversaries for continuous damage and the mobile Astral Flight ability on the W key, allowing Aurelion Sol to fly over enemies while dealing damage.
The champion also will receive a new Passive called "Cosmic Creator," granting Aurelion Sol Stardust when using his damage abilities.

Before the rework patch, players can expect the annual Lunar Revel event starting this week. In a Twitter post, Riot listed the timeline for the event, beginning with the Lunar Feast on January 11th. The next day will debut Mythmaker skins and the Lunar Gala, and on January 26th comes new exclusive Lunar Gods skins.
Both Mythmaker and Lunar Gods skins have been shown on Twitter by the developers beforehand. Mythmaker features a Chinese theme with a scarlet, white, and jade color scheme for select Champions, such as Galio, Garen, and Irelia.
The Lunar Gods skins will be available for Ashe, Qiyana, Kha'Zix, and Malphite. The first two will receive Lunar Empress skins, while the last duo will get Lunar Guardian skins. Each feature a brightly-lit background with a cloud of hazy dust kicking up around them.
