Launch Week Sees Marvel Rivals Drop An Official Trailer And Welcome Two Late Roster Additions
Two more Duelist are welcomed to the lineup of heroes we'll see later this week at launch.
We're just a few days away from the official launch of NetEase's hero-shooter Marvel Rivals. When events start on December 6th, players will have access to the full roster in the F2P game. Remember, NetEase has decided that heroes won't be part of the game's monetization, all heroes will always be free.
If you've been waiting on this one, pre-download begins on December 4th on Steam and on the official website. Console players will actually have to wait until release day, the 6th, to install the game on their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
Not content to just release an official launch trailer video with a banging track performed by Chrissy Costanza, the Rivals team has also decided to reveal two more Duelist class heroes that will join the roster at launch.
Squirrel Girl and Iron Fist each get a reveal trailer as Iron Fist displays insane martial prowess and Squirrel Girl throws nuts everywhere. Yeah, when I get destroyed by someone main-ing Squirrel Girl, I'll probably quit the game in shame.
Are you playing on launch day?
(P.S. There's a few surprise roster additions shown off in the trailer, too, but I won't spoil them for you!)
