Latest Tarisland Blog Offers Look At Scarlet Frostwood Dungeon
The post covers the dungeon’s three chilly bosses.
Once again, Tarisland is offering players a look at what’s to come. This time, the dev team shared an overview of one of the MMORPG’s upcoming five-player dungeons: Scarlet Frostwood. More specifically, it highlights each of the dungeon’s three bosses, the Ice Giant Magnus, the Ice Queen Selena, and the Shadow Sage Calder.
All three bosses have a tragic tale, and all are associated with the Snow Lion village. Magnus is a Snow Lion who, out of concern for his clan, took the dark forces into himself and became an Ice Giant.
Selena, the daughter of Duke Philip, fled an arranged marriage to an elderly alchemist and became lost in the cedar forest where she met the Snow Lion hunter Calder only to have her father show up and disrupt things, causing Selena to jump off a cliff to protect Calder. Rather than die, she was given power by a dark god and told to seek revenge as the Ice Queen.
Calder for his part, became almost catatonic in his depression. That is until he heard a voice telling him he would be given power. He agreed to surrender himself to the voice in order to reunite with Selena and became the Shadow Sage.
There’s a bit more to each of their tales, and this can be found on the game’s site. As tragic as their tales are, it seems it might be a mercy to lay these three low.
