Latest Lost Ark Hotfix Addresses Several Issues, Fever Event Proves There Can Be Only One!

Early this morning, Amazon and Smilegate dropped a hotfix update for Lost Ark. For the most part, the update is filled with general fixes. This includes bigger things like addressing the issue that kept tornados from spawning during the Tytalos Guardian Raid and the one that was causing the game to crash when players tried to search using a controller. Other, probably less dramatic, fixes include addressing event timers that were off thanks to the bane known as Daylight Savings Time.

The devs also took advantage of the downtime to kick off the in-game Fever Time event. This event will run on weekends through April 10, beginning at 2 am Pacific. Each weekend, players will be able to claim a “3 Battle Items Chest” containing 5 Healing Battle Item Chests, 5 Utility Battle Item Chests, and 5 Offensive Battle Item Chests. These can be claimed on Saturday and Sunday, but there is a catch. Players must choose one character on their roster to receive the chests on.

As with most updates, there are known issues. At the time the hotfix notes were posted, players in the Europe West, and South American regions couldn’t connect to voice chat and crystal bonus packs weren’t dropping proper bonuses. Players will receive a retroactive grant of Crystals to make up for that.
