Latest Dauntless Roadmap Updates Lay Out Plans For Improvements, Events, And New Content

If you haven't visited Dauntless's floating island map in a while, you might want to check in (provided you're interested in what they've got going on, of course). Several new things have popped up on the islands as of late -- ranging from changes and improvements being made to the game to new content and even a Spring-themed event.

First up, improvements are being made to Ramsgate and players will soon find NPCs moved to what the devs feel are more ideal locations. There will be some new faces added as well. At the same time, the game's social experience is being reworked to improve guilds, friend lists, and more.

In addition to the Ramsgate rework, Phoenix Labs is also making optimization improvements so that dodging will be more consistent (even over less than stellar connections) and those who are dropped from a hunt will be able to rejoin.

Finally, there is new content on the way in the form of the Rogue Elements Hunt Pass and the Springtide seasonal event. This event will include an alternative hunt where players hunt eggs and herd creatures rather than kill Behemoths. There will be rewards, so it should be worth it.
