Lancelot, Knight Of The Round Table And Stealer Of Guinevere’s Heart, Is Coming To Smite
Oh! And so is RuneScape. But Lancelot is closer.
A new legend is making his way to Smite's Battleground of the Gods. Camelot’s own First Knight of the Round Table, Sir Lancelot is joining the fray. Titan Forge’s vision for Lancelot is that of the loved and respected archetypal knight, but they also wanted to show that he’s not perfect and there are things about him that conflict with that persona.
Combat-wise, Lancelot is an “Arthurian Assassin”. More to the point, he does physical damage. He’s designed to play best in jungle and has a high melee burst damage and a lot of mobility. As with any knight, he has a trusty steed. When mounted he has a different set of abilities (which do include his ultimate).
Details on Lancelot’s design are available on the Smite website, and yes there is a reveal video as well.
On a side note, Titan Forge is really rolling with those crossovers and has one planned waaaay in advance – for November, actually. The Smite team teased a RuneScape crossover earlier today. There’s not much to the tease, just a video. But, with it being that far out, I’m sure we’ll be hearing plenty about it soon enough.
