KingsIsle Entertainment Announces Wizard101 Fall 22 Test Realm For "Novus"
Players have a chance to test out the game’s new world.
A new update is on the horizon for KingIsle Entertainment’s Wizard101 but before that happens, they have some testing they’d like to do, so they’ve announced the Fall 22 Test Realm where players will get a look at the game’s next world, beastman forms, social system updates, and more.
The next update will take players to the world of Novus. This is a bizarre new world that formed after the destruction of the World Synthesizer in Lemuria. There, players will learn new forms of magic while dealing with the politics of the Spiral’s Empires.
The update also introduces five new Beastmoon forms ranging from Minotaur to Death Wolf Warrior. There are also changes to pips, a new pin system for gear slots, and new items and spells. To test all of these things out, players will need to take part in the test realm.
To ensure the general public doesn’t get confused and think this is finished, live content, the test realm will have a watermark on the screen. This means that any content recorded while there will have the same mark. As is the case with most testing, the devs ask players to give feedback via the forums or the in-game reporting tool.
