Kick Off The Chinese New Year In Tarisland By Fighting The New Year Snow Ape

Level Infinite and Tencent launched their celebration of the Chinese New Year in MMORPG Tarisland today. Starting now, there's a few different things you can take part in and a few rewards to be had, with a few more rewards coming next week in a log in campaign.

First up, there's firecrackers and Chinese wall knots everywhere. Someone has been very busy decorating. You're going to want to head to Fort Grenny and kick off your path through the events with the Northerners. New Year Snow Apes are trying to take over Skyfire Plaza. You'll need to use those celebratory fireworks to fend them off to gain a few Snake Coins and other rewards. You can earn these rewards once per day until the event ends on February 6th.

Snake Coins can be exchanged for rewards and there's a few extras out there waiting on you fishers and collectors. Materials collected could lead you to a compass that could help double the coins you find.

From January 28th through February 1st, Tarisland will add on a log in event allowing you to claim raid compensation in just a few clicks. Don't forget to also claim your free "Auspicious Tomato" and "Dish Up" pendants. There's a few special cosmetics up in the shop, too.
