Kakao Games To Merge Auction House And Instances For Evo And Fresh Servers In ArcheAge
After finishing maintenance on June 9, Kakao will open up all content for every Fresh Start Server.
Kakao Games continues to reshape ArcheAge with their latest change being a highly-requested adjustment from different player factions: merging Auction House and Instances for Evo and Fresh Servers. To make sure the process goes smoothly, the Auction House will temporarily close from June 7 at 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time until the end of maintenance.
All pending orders left on the Auction House during maintenance will "run its natural course," Kakao assures, which means they'll still finish on the date it's supposed to end. However, no one will be able to add new additions to the Auction House until the merger is complete. With the change, Kakao hopes to achieve its mission of bringing "new and old players together," keeping everyone connected regardless of server.
Following the merger news is the announcement that all content on every Fresh Start Server will be available as soon as the maintenance is over on June 9. Both Auction House and Fresh Start Servers have been in turmoil since Kakao relaunched the IP, but with this good news from the publisher, it seems as if most of the weeding out the exploitive players and squashing issues is behind them now.
Think there's still more work to be done on ArcheAge's problems? Let's talk about it below! You can read the Auction House merger news on Archeage's dev blog.
