Kakao Games Taking Over Publishing For Nimble Neuron's Eternal Return
Anime-based MOBA/battle royale hybrid will change publishers Oct. 28.
Eternal Return will soon have a new publisher, as Kakao Games has reached an agreement with developer Nimble Neuron to publish the MOBA/battle royale mash-up in North America, Europe, and Oceania regions. The publishing takeover goes into effect on October 28, and there are not expected to be any disruptions to service for Eternal Return players.
Still technically in early access, Eternal Return is one of those really-successful-but-you'd-hardly-ever-know-it kind of titles. It pulls solid numbers on Steam, where it has 82% positive reviews, and is also available in the Microsoft Store and via Xbox Game Pass.
Kakao Games is high on the game's future prospects, with European CEO Min Kim saying that "We feel Eternal Return is a unique title, with much potential, and are pleased to take these first steps with Nimble Neuron in support of their game.” Maybe the new publisher will help Nimble Neuron spread the word of its anime-based title, which recently dropped the "Black Survival" subtitle from its name.
