Kakao Bans More ArcheAge Players, Limits Transactions By Free Accounts
Fresh start servers have also been delayed "until further notice."
Kakao Games is still working to prevent bad actors in ArcheAge. The game's new publisher banned over 20,000 accounts last week and brought the hammer down on a further 273 this week, while suspending 282 more for seven days.
In addition, free trial accounts are getting more restrictions, which were laid out in a post today. They generally deal with giving items to other players, whether through mail, the Auction House, or direct player-to-player trade. This is all likely a means of preventing free accounts from being used to facilitate transactions involving gold sellers -- which you would think any company operating a F2P game would know is a thing by now, but shrug.
Finally, if you're looking for a fresh start server, you'll have to put those plans on hold for a while. The schedule for Nehliya, Kyrios, Kyprosa, and Erenor servers has been postponed "until further notice." There were a few more small changes made in today's patch, which you can read about here.
