"Jesus! No Thanks." — XDefiant Executive Producer Confirms No Pay-To-Win In Upcoming Free-To-Play FPS
Mark Rubin also confirmed keyboard and mouse support for consoles, and no Battle Royale mode in the game.
Some good news for folk interested in XDefiant, the upcoming FPS.
Executive Producer Mark Rubin confirmed on Twitter that the game, developed and published by Ubisoft, will support keyboard and mouse on consoles, though it may not be available at launch.
Yes. I don't know if it will make it for launch but hopefully soon after if it doesn't.

He also dismissed the idea of including a Battle Royale mode in the game, stating that focusing on too many things sacrifices overall quality.
Just to be clear I don't dislike BRs I just feel that a lesson can be learned from other games that try to do both and end up sacrificing the quality of both. We want to focus on our 6v6 arcade arena experience and not let people feel neglected cause we are trying to do too much.

Rubin even expressed that pay-to-win features will not be implemented in the free-to-play game.
Jesus! No thanks.
