Jagex Hires Trion, CCP Veteran Richardsson To Head Up Unannounced Game
Jagex is stocking up on big names in big positions as it continues to work on an unannounced F2P action MMO. The biggest name is Nathan Richardsson, who joins the team after stints at Ubisoft, Behaviour Digital, Trion Worlds and CCP Games. Richardsson will have the title of Executive Producer, where he'll oversee the hiring of even more staff -- specifically a Product Director and Senior Product Marketing Manager -- for a game that is being developed using Unreal Engine 4 and "demands high-definition work."
Jagex's other recent top-level hires include Director of Community Pete McKay (formerly CCP and Riot Games), Head of CRM and Player Engagement Agatha Bejan (EA, Microsoft, and NaturalMotion), RuneScape Technical Director Mitchell Goodwin (Codemasters, Sony London), and Senior Director of Game Engineering Alan Krause (Sony Online Entertainment, Trion Worlds, and Amazon).
