It Was Bound To Happen, Chucky Joins The Dead By Daylight Lineup
There’s nothing like being tormented by a creepy doll.
This may be too many old Twilight Zone episodes talking, but I hate dolls – particularly creepy talking dolls. However, it seems like a lot of people like them, or rather, they really enjoy Chucky. If you’re one of those people and play Dead by Daylight, then we have excellent news for you. Chucky is being added to the game’s roster on November 28.
The doll’s addition is the product of a collaboration with Universal Products and Experiences, and the developers can’t wait to see players discover new gameplay mechanics when they check him out in the limited-time public test on Steam.
Fans will be happy to know that Chucky’s original voice actor, Brad Dourif, entered the recording booth to do all of the character's lines for the game. It seems they pulled no punches. Chucky is a sneaker Killer, which makes sense due to his size. He features a Slice & Dice ability that allows him to lunge at unsuspecting Survivors. In addition, Charles Lee Ray can also appear in his human form under certain circumstances to help Hook Survivors or interrupt their actions.
A "Good Gal" outfit will also be added to the game and, of course, this means we'll be seeing Tiffany and we'll hear the vocal performance of the incomparable Jennifer Tilly!
