It’s Time To Make Sure The Dead Stay Dead In Path Of Exile’s Latest Update: Necropolis
The new update is live today.
Today is the release date for Path of Exile’s latest expansion, Necropolis. Introducing a new storyline, the ARPG MMO’s latest update is filled with new content and changes. Players will explore new tier 17 maps and bosses as well as new Transfigured Gems. In the Necropolis Challenge League, players will assist Undertaker Arimor to ensure that the dead of the Eternal Empire remain that way.
Your job, this time around, is to hunt the spirits that are haunting the monsters of Wraeclast using the Lantern of the Arimor provided to you by the Undertaker. This family heirloom forces the spirits haunting the monsters into the open, where they can be dealt with. Use the Lantern to see and manipulate the spirits.
Once you’re done, take the corpses of the haunted monsters to Necropolis and bury them. You’re not done with them yet, though. You’ll also need to exorcise them and forge items from their souls. Of course, a new Path of Exile update also means new gear, and these will come from the haunted monsters that you slay and bury.
As mentioned, the update also adds new Tier 17 maps for a little extra challenge. It also adds new Atlas Trees and reworks the endgame content systems.
