It’s Time To Meet The Head Of Inazuma’s Kamisato Clan In Today's Genshin Impact Version Update
Zephyr of the Violet Garden is live and there are new places to go and people to meet.
Today, HoYoverse dropped Genshin Impact’s Version 2.6 Update, "Zephyr of the Violet Garden". As detailed in the last Special Program, this update focuses heavily on Inazuma, adding a new character from the nation to the roster, a new underground zone, and new story content.
The latest character to be added to the Genshin Impact roster is Kamisato Ayato, the head of the Kamisato clan and brother of Ayaka – whom players have already met. The update will offer more insight into the workings of the Kamisato clan via Ayato’s story, and perhaps it will offer players a bit more information on the oni, Itto.
Of course, the update will take players into a new zone as well – an underground area so dark players are going to need help exploring it. That means it's time for a new gadget. And, yes, there is a new event as well, a festival in Inazuma that a lot of familiar faces will be attending. Players can find out more about all the new content via the game’s site – or by reading our post on the last Special Program.
In an additional bit of news, if you use the official Teyvat Interactive Map, it has been updated as well. It now includes the Chasm and its related map pins. Navigation has been improved and a new pin function has been added, as well. Paimon will show you how it all works.
