It’s Time For Another New World Server Merge, And Time To Talk About Why It's Hard To Implement Some Things
Two European servers and six North American servers are getting the merger treatment.
It seems like it was just a couple of weeks ago when Amazon merged several of New World’s servers – because it was. Then, several servers across regions were paired up, not quite halving the number of servers available. This time, the mergers aren’t quite as widespread. Three regions are involved this time (although two of them are North American) and the amount of servers impacted in each is reduced. It actually looks like they’re picking up some of the servers that didn’t get merged in the last go-round.
This time Central European servers Tartarus and Nysa will be merged. In North America, the Eastern server Avalon will be added to Lilith – making that Lilith’s second influx in two weeks. As for US West, Yggdrasil will be merged into El Dorado and Yonas will become part of Isabella. All of this is scheduled to happen today. As always, full information on what to expect from the merge process is available in a FAQ.
On an additional note, it’s that time again and another Forged in Aeternum is available to watch. This time, they’re discussing why it’s hard to implement some game features. You can watch it below.
