It’s Time For Another Final Fantasy XIV Moogle Treasure Trove Event, And You Know What That Means
The 6.2 update is just around the corner.
If you love avoiding certain kinds of content while still getting the rewards from them, good news! The Moogle Treasure Trove event is returning to Final Fantasy XIV. That means that the non-raiders and those of you who have no intention of doing tribe quests can get your hands on some of the related mounts and minions anyway. That is, of course, provided you’re willing to run the same bits of content over and over and over again in order to get those sweet irregular tomes.
The Moogle Treasure Trove event kicks off next Monday, July 25 and will run until the launch of Patch 6.2. Of course, that means 6.2 is probably just about a month away. Of course, if you haven’t completed everything you intend to from 6.1 yet, the best use of your time is probably getting those things done. But, if you’re all done with that, then repeating The Praetorium over and over again to get your hands on a Lunar Kamuy or the Ufiti isn’t the worst use of your time.
As with previous Moogle Treasure Trove Events, players can complete various dungeons, trials, and raids to receive varying amounts of irregular tomestones. These can then be turned into the Itinerant Moogle in one of the three main cities in exchange for different items, including, emotes, orchestration scrolls, mounts, minions, accessories, hairstyles, and Ostensibly Special Timeworn Maps. Those are the ones that always have a portal.
Of course, sometime during the run of this event, we should expect the second half of the Live Letter detailing what to expect in 6.2. So, keep an eye out for that.
