It May Be The Last Chance To Grab Your Favorite Overwatch Skins Before Loot Boxes Stop On August 30
The Loot Box system will soon be replaced with a seasonal battle pass
It’s been fun, but it’s time to say goodbye to Loot Boxes in Overwatch and get ready for the new seasonal battle pass with the launch of Overwatch 2 on October 4.
Players who are looking to level up their collection before it's too late can earn and purchase Anniversary Loot Boxes throughout the Anniversary Remix Vol. 3 Event that is live now. Players can try to earn Tagged Tracer, Varsity D.Va, Genjiman Genji, and more. This event will allow players to have a chance to obtain items from past Anniversaries and seasonal events. It is important to remember that Loot Boxes will no longer be available for sale after the end of the Anniversary Remix Vol.3 on August 30, so players will need to snag the skins now if they want them.
In addition, Loot Boxes that are not opened before August 30 will automatically open before the launch of Overwatch 2 to ensure that players don’t lose any skins and other cosmetics before the switch.
