It's Finally Druid Time In Pantheon, The New Class Drops Today Along With Other Updates
If you think things have been a little TOO foggy sometimes, the team agrees.
The long-awaited arrival of the Druid class in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen happens today as the MMORPG drops Build 0.16.89. Obviously the new class is the main attraction here , but the update includes a number of other improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes, too.
First up, the druid brings some nature to the forefront of the MMO's healing game. Using mana, as usual, the Druid's ability set heavily relies on nature with skills doing things like planting trees that sprout to heal others, making yourself invisible inside a shroud of leaves, and bringing down lightning from the heavens upon the heads of your foes.
Plus, you get a companion and are less likely to be attacked by wildlife. You can still be attacked, it's just less likely given your nature-based inclinations.
In addition to the new class, the patch lessens the effect of fog when weather conditions get cloudy. If you felt it was a bit TOO hard to see, the team seems to have agreed with you. Cleric and Shaman have received a few changes of their own with some cooldowns, mana costs, or cast times reduced.
Hit up the full patch notes for additional info on gathering and crafting changes and some additional bug fixes.
Now, VR, about that bard...
