The long touted and often teased mobile version of Blizzard's CCG Hearthstone is finally coming to Ipad's near you. That is if you happen to live in Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Yes, Blizzard's initial mobile release of Hearthstone is fairly limited and surprisingly doesn't include the US, the studios own country of origin.

In the official announcement, Blizzard did state other regions would soon follow saying players wont have much longer to wait, but offered no concrete dates. According to the studio, the limited released allows Blizzard to "focus on the end-to-end player experience" before opening the experience to larger audiences.

The iPad version possesses the same features as its desktop counterpart and allows players to freely switch between the two. In the future, Blizzard plans to support other mobile devices including Android devices and iPhones.

EA did this for Plants vs Zombies 2 for Android as well (first released in Australia + NZ, before the rest of the world), as is Ubisoft with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms for Steam in Canada only..
