Infinity Ward Showcases Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Newest Map, Farm 18

Those who love to know the ins and outs behind a game are in for a lucky treat. Infinity Ward has released a TikTok that showcases a new map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 called Farm 18 along with some developers discussing the decisions behind the look and feel of the map.

The map is set to take place in an abandoned and overgrown cement factory with the inclusion of Shoothouse, the very popular level from 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Creating the design was difficult, explains the Senior Environmental Artist, Ashley Thundercliffe. "The problem was balancing the foliage, if we go too dense with the foliage–we have people hiding in the corners–if we don't go dense enough, we don't sell the narrative of the overgrown. So it’s all a perfect balance,” he starts. “The perfect harmony to make sure that we got a beautiful realistic looking space, while also being fun for the players to enjoy.”
