Infinite Fleet To Have Grammy-Nominated Transformers Composer Score Trailer
Here's a little something the film and TV music fans among you might be interested in. Developer Pixelmatic announced that they will be dropping a new trailer for their upcoming space strategy game, Infinite Fleet, soon. While that might not seem like such big news by itself, the company was also excited to reveal that composer Vince DiCola would be scoring the trailer. Some of you may remember DiCola's name from films like The Transformers: The Movie and Rocky IV as well as multiple video games. These include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, Gran Turismo 5, and Angry Birds.
Pixelmatic feels DiCola's iconic 80's sound is perfect for Infinite Fleet while DiCola -- along with Kenny Meriedeth, who he has worked with for over three decades, is excited to work on the score. At present, they're not giving many hints at to what players will hear from the trailer. The only thing we know is that the material should remind players of his Transformers score, with more modern elements thrown in.
The announcement does not state whether or not DiCola will be working with Pixelmatic beyond the trailer.
