Illios Island Has Just Appeared In The World Of Lost Ark, So Why Not Celebrate The New Year There?

When a mysterious island just appears out in the world, there's usually questions surrounding it. That doesn't seem to apply in Arkesia though. Instead, everyone in Lost Ark just views the appearance of an island as a chance to celebrate the new year in the MMORPG. Suit up and head out to sea.

Illios Island has appeared and will play host to multiple events, a few surprises, and rewards for those that want to ring in the new year. Illios claims to offer some of the best views in the game's world, so it may be a place to watch the perfect sunrise or a good place to make your New Year wishes. A special co-op mission will be available on Illios when the new year arrives on January 1st. You can hop into the event as much as you like when the event fires every two hours, but you can only get the event's rewards once per roster.

If you took part in the festivities last year, this year will feature a revamped fireworks show and some additional photo zones for you to take your favorite screenshots.

Keep in mind, some of the rewards on offer are only available duing the celebration, so welcome in the new year, get some rewards, and snag a pic or two.
