IGG Inc. Announces Closure Of Anime MMO Wonderland Online
After a decade of service, Wonderland Online is being prepared for shutdown. The news of the closure was announced on the IGG forums earlier this month, where it was simply stated that, "the developers have decided to cease operations for WL".
The good news for players is that the closure will not be immediate, IGG began rolling out the shutdown procedure on November 8, starting with shutting down payment services and processing loyalty rewards. The game itself with end service on January 15.
If you're wondering about those loyalty rewards, IGG is offering players the rewards as a thanks for sticking with the game for so long. They also hope to make it easier for Wonderland Online Players to make the move to one of the company's other titles.
All Wonderland Online players are eligible, but they will need to register before the game's closure in January. Instructions on how to go about this are available on the IGG forums. You can also find a list of what you'll receive in each game when you make the move to one of them in the same thread.
