If You Really Need Lore As An Excuse To Battle In Mechs, Mecha BREAK Just Dropped A Lore Trailer
For myself, I need no reasons, but sure, let's see what's going on.
I'm not really sure if you need a "lore" reason to hop into a mech and start blasting things. Honestly, I love games like the Armored Core franchise, but I can't remember a single one of the series' stories at this point. However, if you really want some story in your mech combat game, then Mecha BREAK has you covered with a little backstory thanks to a new trailer.
If I'm being honest, I don't think the story is anything special. I know it's just a teaser, but yeah, there's a geological disaster, scraps of population are remaining, factions are fighting over a resource that is dwindling in supply and could be responsible for future threats anyway.
Yep, you've likely heard all this before.
That said, if you need a compelling narrative, you probably aren't looking in the right place if you're looking at any PvP focused game. We all just really want to customize our mech and hit the field.
In other Mecha BREAK news though, the team from Amazing Seasun Games will be headed to The Game Awards on December 12th and they have a "new announcement" to make. So...maybe a release date? We'll see.
