If You’re Looking For Something To Do Over The Holidays, There Is Mist Legacy
The turn based MMO is the passion project of a two-person team.
With the holidays coming up, you may be in need of a good reason to ignore your family – once the presents are opened and the food has been consumed, of course. If that’s the case, then perhaps you’d want to give Mist Legacy a go. This turn-based MMO, created by a team of two, entered early access back in October. Since then, it’s received several updates, including one for the winter season.
Mist Legacy is inspired by classic RPGs and does away with a lot of the standards of most MMORPGs – such as classes, crafting blueprints, and the like. Instead, the game allows players to grow their characters based on the skills they use and craft more freely. And, as mentioned, the game’s combat is turn-based. Although, rather than playing with your own team, you can take along four friends.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, the game is free-to-play – and a reasonably sized download for checking out, so just hit up the Steam page.
